Provo Home Sales decrease a whopping of 30% in May

Provo Utah home sales were down 36.05 percent in May 2011 with 55 residential homes sold from 86 total residential homes sold in the same time last year.
Year over year prices of homes also decrease 9.44 percent from May 2010 median sold price of $169,500 and original list price of $183,900 to the same month this year’s median sold price of $153,500 and original list price of $179,900.
Each square foot of Provo home went sold in May this year cost around $84.37. Half of these homes sold were bigger than 1,863 square feet. The average home sold during this month has four bedrooms and two baths. Under contract listings in this month stayed on the market for 118 days before they were sold.
Provo number of home sales in the market to date totalled 556 in which 102 of these are under contract properties.
